PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveyance device satisfying both accelerating of conveyance speed and providing of an image with higher resolution without enlargement of a motor or an increase in costs. SOLUTION: A typical constitution of this conveyance device has a conveyance means for conveying a recording sheet, a driving motor 11 which is a drive source of the conveyance means, and a power transmission part transmitting power of the driving motor 11 to the conveyance means. The driving motor 11 rotates normally and reversely and the power transmission part has two drive paths each corresponding to the normal and reverse rotations of the driving motor 11.
