PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To orient staple fibers in the direction vertical to the earth surface of a tread rubber member. SOLUTION: A plurality of injection runners 5 are provided in a rubber mold 2 which has a cavity 3 having a first molding surface 3a for molding a tread forming surface and capable of molding a tread rubber member as the injection ports 4 extending at a right angle to the first molding surface 3a and opened to the cavity 3 at one ends thereof. A raw rubber material compounded with staple fibers is injected in the cavity 3 through the injection runners 5 to produce the tread rubber member wherein the staple fibers are oriented almost right-angled to the tread forming surface.
