PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a porous carbon material integrated with titanium oxide. SOLUTION: A carbonization precursor is prepared by a sol-gel method using an alkaline earth metal salt of an organic carboxylic acid and a titanium alkoxide, and the alkaline earth metal compound is removed by an acid after the carbonization so that porosity is given.
