PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal chip pulverizing machine which is capable of discharging pulverized chips to the left side, right side and rear side of the pulverizing machine. SOLUTION: The horizontal chip pulverizing machine is provided with a pulverized chip discharge pipeline 110 which introduces the pulverized chips rotating at a speed within a specific distance in a radial direction from the inner periphery of a discharge pipe 101 in the tangential direction of rotation of a discharge vane 106 of the discharge pipe 101 toward the upper side of the pulverizing machine. The outlet of the hook-shaped discharge port is disposed behind the pulverized chip discharge pipeline so as not to disturb the course of the chips just before the discharge pipeline and to introduce the pulverized chips having the specified or higher tangent direction velocity toward the discharge pipeline 110 as far as possible, by which the discharging of the pulverized chips to the right, left or rear by a replaceable discharge chute mounted at the terminal of the discharge pipeline is made possible.
