PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtration membrane cartridge easy to be manufactured at a low cost and having high reliability and durability and free from liquid leakage and the like and to provide a filtration membrane module using the cartridge. SOLUTION: This filtration membrane cartridge for an immersion type membrane filtration apparatus and comprises a filtration membrane panel 15 sealed by being covered with a filtration membrane 22 in a bag-like state, a water flowing inlet 21 formed in the filtration membrane panel 15, an approximately cylindrical water flowing boss 28 having a through-hole 28c in the side face and the inner diameter in one end with the approximately same size as the outer diameter in the other end in the axial direction, and reinforcing members 25, 26 having grooves for pinching the end parts of the filtration membrane panel 15 and fitting holes to have the water flowing boss 28 fitted therein. The reinforcing members 25, 26 are pinched in the end parts of the filtration membrane panel and the water flowing boss 28 is fitted in the fitting holes of the reinforcing members 25, 26 to align with the through hole 28c of the water flowing boss 28 to the water flowing inlet 21 of the filtration membrane panel 15 and thus a filtrate in the inside of the filtration membrane panel 15 is led to the water flowing boss 28 through the water flowing inlet 21.
