PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas damper fitting part securing a reinforcing effect by minimizing notch amount in a side frame reinforcing rib for a door, lightening the weight of the whole door by setting the side frame to an aluminum structural member, and eliminating an operation force from increasing by setting the capacity of a gas damper small. SOLUTION: In this flip-up type door A opened by a gas damper fitted to a side frame constituting a portal structure, the side frame material of this flip-up type door is constituted of an aluminum structural member, an inverse T shaped rib 4 is provided in the side frame material G, L-shaped fitting brackets 5 are interposed in both sides of the horizontal flange 4' of the inverse T shaped rib 4, one side of the L-shaped fitting bracket 5 for fitting the upper part of the gas damper E is so fitted as to be deviated outward than the side edge 4" of the horizontal flange 4'. Notches 7 avoiding the interference with a U-shaped bracket 8 for fitting the lower part of the gas damper E are provided in both sides of the horizontal flange 4'.
