PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which can transmit a high frequency signal. SOLUTION: A signal wire 96 from a cable 44 is spot welded to a signal connector 82. Similarly, a ground wire 98 from the cable 44 is spot welded to a ground connector 84. The joints are surrounded by a mold 90 to constitute a connector 80. The signal wire 96 and the ground wire 98 are extremely short. Outer surface of the ground connector 84 comes into direct contact with the common ground, i.e., a ground plate 54. It means that limitation of test rate due to reflection, caused by the length of a signal transmission line and a ground line, is improved. When the connector 80 is used, mismatch of the cable 44 and the signal wire 96, the ground wire 98 is reduced resulting in high rate signal transmission.
