PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically coat the outer peripheral surface of a fixed cylinder with a lubricant by forming a space part between the outer peripheral surface and inner peripheral surface of an operation ring, putting a lubricant absorber having absorbed a lubricant in the space part, and making the lubricant leak to the inner peripheral part of the operation ring from an communication hole which is communicated to the space part. SOLUTION: A space part 82 is formed between the outer and inner peripheral surfaces of a zoom ring 44 and an oil sheet 86 having absorbed grease is put in the space part 82. The zoom ring 33 is fitted to a front fixed cylinder 12A and rotated and then the grease absorbed by the oil sheet 86 leaks to the inner peripheral part of the zoom ring 44 through a communication hole 84. Then the grease is spread through the rotation of the zoom ring 44 and applied onto the outer peripheral surface of the front fixed cylinder 12A.
