PURPOSE:To prevent data from being left unsent by adopting the constitution that a comuter is called automatically when a prescribed time or alarm is detected and the data stored in a memory is sent automatically to the comuter in terms of a DTMF signal. CONSTITUTION:When a timer built in a CPU 56 counts a prescribed time or detects a prescribed alarm, the CPU 56 retrieves a prescribed number among numbers stored in advance in a memory 55 and makes a call receiver 52 output the number. The call receiver 52 sends a DTMF(Dual Tone Multi-frequency) signal corresponding to the designated number. The signal is sent to a telephone line 6 via an interface 51. When a master equipment replies, the discrimination of automatic/manual data transmission is applied, and when the automatic transmission mode is set, a data signal as well as the identification signal stored in advance in the memory 55 is read from the CPU 56 and sent to the master equipment.
