PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium, a recording device and a recording method capable of attaining ultrahigh-density recording possible without applying a high voltage. SOLUTION: This recording medium has a substrate 11, a recording layer 16 formed on the substrate 11 and having a charge accumulation area containing a material which can accumulate charges, and a photoconductive layer 17 formed on the recording layer 16 and having a photoconductive area containing a material which absorbs light to increase the conductivity.
