PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auction support system/method by which auction can be executed on a network by using a computer on a real time basis, a general user can easily join in auction and the mechanism of auction supporting a purchaser side is constructed. SOLUTION: In auction where an auction organizer supplies an article that is to be auctioned and the price on a network using a computer and business is realized with a purchaser operating a terminal, the auction organizer sets the price of the article which is to be auctioned, and the article to be auctioned and the price are informed to the purchaser through the network S103 and S111. The setting of the price of the article to be auctioned is stepwise dropped S108 while the bidding of the article to be auctioned through the network by the purchaser is detected S112 and S104. The purchaser bidding at the stage of the more expensive price is set to be a successful bidder and the business of the article to be auctioned is realized with the purchaser S104 and S105. |
