<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent color irregularity from occurring by providing the upper layer of a pixel electrode layer of an electrode structure with a herring-bone pattern, and providing the lower layer with a flat plate common electrode layer. SOLUTION: An electrode structure 100 comprises a common electrode layer 102, a pixel electrode layer 101, and an isolation insulating layer. The pixel electrode layer 101 is positioned over the common electrode 102 and has a herring-bone structure. The lower common electrode layer 102 is of a flat plate shape. Conductors in a single pixel and the pixel electrode layer 101 are parallel to each other, and maintain luminous intensity on the pixel electrode between 45 deg. to 90 deg. of the angle, and reduce a resister value of a signal line 103. Color irregularity is prevented by making a liquid crystal rotate in the two directions, clockwise and counterclockwise.</p> |
