PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a refrigerator in which warming in the machine room and dissipation of steam from an evaporation pan can be carried out smoothly. SOLUTION: The refrigerator 1 has a machine room 41 at a lower section of a heat insulation box 6 in which a compressor and an evaporation pan condenser 83 constituting a refrigeration cycle are disposed. An evaporation pan 90 receiving drains from the cooler in the refrigeration cycle is mounted on the evaporation pan condenser. A kick plate 82 is fixed to the heat insulation box such that the front of the machine room is closed and an air inlet 101 is made in the upper surface of the kick plate.
