<p>PURPOSE:To provide the frame for the piano which can adjust sound effects with simple constitution. CONSTITUTION:Circular hole parts 32 are formed at almost equal intervals in the reverse surface of the high-tone side area 30 of a hitch pin installation part 10 and nearly triangular or nearly quadrangular hole parts 34 and 36 which are not fixed in size and shape are provided between them. On the opposite side from this area 30, hitch pins are provided and strings are extended between them and tuning pins of an opposite tuning pin installation part. When the strings vibrate, the vibration is transmitted to the area 30 through string saddle felt and a string saddle. The impedance of the frame can be adjusted by adjusting the numbers, sizes, shapes, arrangement, etc., of the hole parts 32, 34, and 36 and resonance to, specially, high-tone side strings is controllable. Consequently, the acoustic characteristics of the whole piano can be adjusted and are improved. Even when the hole parts 34, 34, and 36 are provided, there is no problem regarding a space and they can easily be formed, so there is advantages in manufacturing cost and no problem.</p> |
