PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speak a voice more naturally by designating the pitch, the length, and the sound volume of each syllable. SOLUTION: A syllable code designating a syllable and an attribute code designating the pitch, the length, and the sound volume for speaking of the syllable correspond to each other to constitute speaking data 2. A voice synthesis part 4 takes out voice data of a syllable designated by a syllable code from a syllable data storage part 3 and subjects taken-out voice data to digital operation processing to generate and output voice data having the pitch, the length, and the sound volume which are designated by the attribute code. A DA conversion part 5 performs DA conversion of voice data outputted from the voice synthesis part 4 to output a voice signal. The voice signal is amplified by a low frequency amplification part 6, and a synthesized voice is outputted by an electroacoustic transducer 7 like a speaker. The pitch of 'me' of 'ame' is raised to speak 'ame' meaning rain, and it is lowered to speak 'ame' meaning a candy. |
