PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner for electrophotography for imparting a refreshing effect to the surface of a photoreceptor without any harmful effects to give obstacles to an image. SOLUTION: This toner for electrophotography, which constitutes a two- component developer, contains metallic fine particles having 250-600 nm volume average diameter and 0.25-0.5 m2/g or smaller specific surface area as an abrasive. The metallic fine particles of 1.5-2 parts weight are externally added and deposited on toner mother particles of 100 parts weight. The electrophotographic device using this toner is provided with a photoreceptor cleaning mechanism at the upper position of the horizontal line passing through the center of a photoreceptor drum.
