<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile terminal with a bulletin board function that can instruct bulletin board information of an exhibit original from a remote terminal and effectively use a memory. SOLUTION: At the start of reception, presence of SUB/PWD capability is declared by a reception capability of a DIS signal on a protocol (S1). When a transmitter makes bulletin board registration of an original, the transmitter sets a bulletin board number to a SUB code and sets a bulletin board period to a PWD code on the protocol and transmits the resulting protocol. When a receiver receives no SUB/PWD, (No in S2), the receiver conducts usual reception (S3). When receiving the SUB/PWB (YES in S2), the receiver extracts the bulletin board number from the received SUB code and extracts the bulletin board period from the PWD code (S4). Then the receiver receives an original (S5), registers the received original and the bulletin board period to a designated bulleting board (S6) and terminates the reception. The bulletin board period of the received original is checked for a prescribed period and the original whose bulletin board period is expired is deleted.</p> |
