PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the easy and sure washing of an aluminum tube stock for a photoreceptor drum subjected to socket and spigot working before forming the photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The inside surfaces at both ends of the aluminum tube stock of the electrophotographic photoreceptor formed with the photoreceptor layer on the surface of the aluminum tube stock are subjected to socket and spigot working and the boundary portions between the socket and spigot worked parts and the inside surface of the aluminum tube stock are formed to a curved surface shape.
