<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector with an improved end device of a high speed coaxial cable to attach the metal shield of a plurality of coaxial cables to a grounding member such as a grounding blade. SOLUTION: An electrical connector 14 comprises an insulating housing 15 provided with a plurality of terminals 32. The housing 15 has a conductive grounding blade 28, from which are projected at least a pair of positioning arms 52, engaged by the metal shield 88 of a pair of coaxial cables 64. The housing 15 is provided with an independent cable end member 60, of which a separator 62 is extended between the positioning arms 52, separating the coaxial cable 64, and maintaining the metal shield 88 near the positioning arms 52.</p> |
