PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio equipment which enables a telephone call using a wireless earphone microphone while reducing the size and power consumption of the radio equipment. SOLUTION: When a 1st mode for a telephone call using a microphone 104 and a speaker 105 is switched to a 2nd mode for a telephone call using a wireless earphone microphone with a key switch (mode switching part) 109 depressed, a wireless earphone microphone switching part 107 selects and connects the output of a wireless earphone microphone control part 106 to a portable telephone control part 103 to enable a telephone call using the wireless earphone microphone 113. At this time, a wireless earphone microphone radio part 108 uses as a carrier the output wave of an oscillator 102a that a portable telephone radio part 102 has to perform radio transmission to the wireless earphone microphone 113.
