PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerical controller capable of easily setting software for monitoring a controlled system device under operation. SOLUTION: A numerical controller 1 is composed of a CNC 2 and a control panel 3 and controls a conveyer 4 as a controlled system device. The CNC 2 is composed of a CPU 21 and a memory 22 as core and in the memory 22, a start condition information card and a continuation condition information card are stored as a matrix-shaped data set. Since the continuation condition information card is the matrix-shaped data set as well, this card can be displayed like a list on the display of an input/output device 23, setting and debugging thereof is facilitated, and the knowledge of programming language is not requested. Thus, the continuation condition information card can be set easily as a software for monitoring the conveyer 4 as the controlled system device under operation.
