<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily operate and close a folding type portable radio communication device such as a portable telephone in one hand and to place the device in a standby state wherein a telephone call can immediately be made when the device is opened. SOLUTION: The folding type portable radio communication device is constituted by connecting a pair of housings by a hinge on their base end sides so that they can be opened and closed, and on the base end side of one of the housings, an operation lever is arranged which enables a user to grip one housing in one hand and open or close it by rotation with the fingers of the hand.</p> |
