PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and method for mounting a liquid crystal display element in a liquid crystal projector permitting highly accurate adjustments associated with downsizing of the liquid crystal display element and high definition thereof, by eliminating change with the elapse of time after adjusting alignment of the liquid crystal display element with a synthesis means of each color light. SOLUTION: This is a mounting structure of the liquid crystal display element in the liquid crystal projector, and the liquid crystal display element is mounted on the synthesis means through an intermediate member having a temporary UV fixing part for tacking and a solder fixing part for permanent fixing.
