PURPOSE:To improve the rate of operation of a machine tool, by performing rearrangement of tools so as to decrease a number of processes and the work time as small as possible while checking the interference of the fellow tools with each other when necessary. CONSTITUTION:A component decision means checks the existence of values out of the predetermined range in an evaluation matrix component corresponding to one set of unit combination cartridges selected by a cartridge selecting means. A rearrangement instruction means, when a decision result by the component decision means obtains the value to exist, generates a rearrangement instruction for a tool corresponding to a component having the value out of the predetermined range of the evaluation matrix component values. A tool movement control means, when the decision result by the component decision means obtains no existence of the value, generates an instruction, which moves a tool required for rearrangement to a predetermined tool holding hole of a central cartridge in one set of unit combination cartridges composed of selected three cartridges, to a tool moving means. |
