<p>A protecting film for a polarizing plate which comprises a thermoplastic saturated norbornene resin and, formed thereon, a polyurethane resin layer and exhibits excellent adhesion to a polarizer due to the polyurethane resin layer; and a protecting film for a polarizing plate which comprises a thermoplastic saturated norbornene resin, a polyurethane resin layer formed on the resin, and a PVA layer formed on the polyurethane resin layer, and is free from the blocking with another film due to the EVA layer. A polarizing plate utilizing the protecting film exhibits excellent durability under a hot and humid condition and thus can be suitably used for a liquid crystal display.</p> |
