The invention relates to a high-tension stabilising circuit with a horizontal oscillator (8), a horizontal driver (9), a horizontal output stage (13), a line (deflection) transformer (FBT2), a boost-up circuit (14) and an amplifier (15), which is characterised by the fact that the horizontal oscillator (8) is connected with its output terminal to a frequency change detector (10) with outputs (O1, O2) which are in each case connected to a current feed switching circuit (11) of transistors (Q3, Q4) and resistors (R4, R6) or, respectively, to a current feed switching circuit (12) of transistors (Q1, Q2) and resistors (R1 - R3), the switching circuits (12, 11) are in each case connected to power supplies or current feed terminals (B<+>3, B<+>2), the output of the switching circuit (11) and the primary winding of the line transformer (FBT2) are connected to a power supply or current feed terminal (B<+>1) and the power supplies or current feed terminals (B<+>1-B<+>3) are arranged in such a manner that they supply current differently or differentially in accordance with the change in horizontal frequency. <IMAGE>
