The radial piston pump has a means of pretensioning including a corrugated ring(9) which by one side is elastically supported on the pump casing(2) or motor in a direction parallel to the motor shaft, and by its other side elastically acts parallel to the motor shaft upon the coupling element(5) connecting the pistons(3,4). The pretensioning means may include two or more annular corrugated rings which each lie upon the coupling element and housing by at least two corrugations.
