Air conditioning of pressurized zones in aircraft by discharging sub-flow into separating zone between two adjacent zones

Several independent sub-flows are branched from a main supply flow (4) of recirculating air, and supplied to separate zones. The used recirculating air is vented as a consequence of the air pressure balance prevailing in the zone. From the adjacent transition zone of an individual zone supplied with air, a sub-airflow is discharged into a separating zone (3) which is formed at the zonal air-intersection of the adjacent zones (1,2). The sub-airflow is forced out of the separating zone by the suction of a waster air flow. An Independent claim is included for an apparatus for performing the method.
