Normally gases are stored in compressed form in pressure containers. The aim of the invention is to provide a space saving means of storing gases and produce a suitable container, whereby the gas is filled in a container which contains at least one adsorbent. The inventive container is characterised in that it contains at least one gas under pressure and at least one adsorbent.
