The fastener consists of a buckle (1) with a plate (6) and a regulator (2) to hold the free end (5) of the bracelet or strap and keep it in place solely by friction. The space between the buckle and plate, through which the free end is passed, is adjusted by rotating the regulator, which pivots on an eccentric axis (4).
