The invention relates to a water-soluble native dry extract of plant parts, especially of Ginkgo biloba leaves, which consists exclusively of components of said plant parts, i.e. in relation to the composition of the extract contains no additional substances and in particular is free of solubilization-promoting additives. The method for its production is characterized in that a preferably aqueous-alcoholic liquid extract is prepared in any manner and said extract is then subjected to targeted ultrafiltration.
