PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice polisher which removes bran adhering to the surface of rice without using water. SOLUTION: In a rice polisher, to a main body 1 provided with a driving shaft 8 having a coupling 9 and an electric motor 50 for rotating the shaft 8, a container 14 which is opened upward and has a rotary shaft 21 and in which a coupling 22 engaging with the coupling 9 is attached to the bottom wall 14a is fitted. A separating cage 30 which has numbers of small holes 35a, 32a which allow bran to pass through and houses raw rice is arranged in the container 14, a rotor 40 having a rice polishing brush 47 on the peripheral surface is fitted to the rotary shaft 21, the rotor 40 is rotated, and bran adhering to raw rice is removed by the brush 47.
