PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a width of an engine, and to prevent an oil temperature from rising caused by exhaust heat and agitation to enhance lubricating performance, without sacrificing functions for respective members, opening parts and the like provided in an underface of an engine. SOLUTION: An exhaust passage 46 is opened outside chain lines 35a, 35b of a timing chain 35 and in one side of the engine 2 in top view, and a chain tensioner 37 and a chain adjuster 38 are arranged in an opposite side of the exhaust passage 46 to sandwich the timing chain 35. A main gallery 48, a sub- gallery 49 and an oil releaf valve 50 are arranged in a side where the tensioner 37 and the adjuster 38 are provided. |
