PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently guide a foaming pressure towards a discharge opening to contribute to discharging by substantially shutting the movement of air bubbles to the upstream side of an air bubble generation region. SOLUTION: A heating unit 10, a movable member 11, and stoppers 12a and 12b for regulating a movement of the movable member 11 to a desired range are set in a flow path 3. A liquid is discharged from a discharge opening 4 by an energy when air bubbles are generated. The movable member 11 has a free end 11b of a breadth larger than a breadth of the heating unit 10. The free end 11b is opposed to a central region of an air bubble generation region formed by the heating unit 10. A stopper includes the leading end stopper 12a which comes in contact with the free end 11b of the moved movable member 11, and the lateral stopper 12b positioned with respect to the side of the air bubble generation region. At least part of the lateral stopper 12b substantially comes in contact with both sides of a side end of the moved movable member 11. The lateral stopper 12b regulates air bubbles 40 generated from the air bubble generation region by the contact to the movable member 11.
