PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve such a problem that it is uncertain whether the molding is peeled off an adhering surface of the double-sided adhesive tape on a door edge side or off an adhering surface on a door protector molding side when a door protector molding adhered on a door edge by double-sided adhesive tape is removed after an automobile is delivered to a dealer. SOLUTION: A base part 11 of this door protector molding attached on an opening end 32 of a door 30 of the automobile includes a body part 12 formed of thermal plastic resin, and an adhesive layer 18 integrally formed with the body part 12 for adhering to the opening end of the door tentatively. Because the adhesive layer is integrally formed with the body part, the door protector molding is always peeled off a surface of the adhesive layer adhering to the door edge in removing the door protector molding from the door edge, and the body part and the adhesive layer are integrally removed from the door edge.
