PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filling structure of an underground water tank having large pressure-proof strength to earth pressure from the periphery and eliminating fear that side plates are broken by earth pressure and the side plates fall off by an earthquake. SOLUTION: In a filling structure for arranging side plates 5 on the outer periphery by vertically/horizontally juxtaposing and vertically stacking/filling filling bodies 4 having studs 42 in an underground water tank 1, the structure is formed by extending strut bars 9 between the mutually opposing side plates 5, 5 through a space between the studs 42 of the filling bodies 4. With such a structure, since the side plates 5 are supported by the strut bars 9 from the inside even if earth pressure acts on the side plates 5 from the periphery, the side plates 5 are not broken by sufficiently enduring the earth pressure. When fixing end parts of the strut bars 9 to the side plates 5, there is no fear of falling-off of the side plates 5 at earthquake occurring time. An intermediate plate is arranged between the vertically/horizontally adjacent filling bodies, and the strut bars may be extended between the intermediate plate and the side plates opposed to the intermediate plate or the intermediate plate.
