PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hopper device capable of efficiently backfilling various backfilling materials in a ditch formed on the ground surface in a layered state. SOLUTION: A hopper body 10 is mounted on a square frame-shaped carriage 1 having wheels 2 on both front/rear sides, and various hopper outlet cylinders different in a shape and a height can be freely attached to the lower end of the hopper body 10. The carriage 1 is moved along a ditch formed on the ground surface, a backfilling material supplied to the hopper body 10 is discharged from the hopper outlet cylinders connected to the lower end of the hopper body 10, the backfilling material is accumulated in a specific thickness on a bottom surface of the ditch, and the next backfilling material is accumulated in a specific thickness on a preformed accumulated layer by replacing the hopper outlet cylinders.
