PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicone resin seal having hydrophilic surface with which a foaming pressure test can be carried out using water in the case where the silicon resin seal is used for sealing in the peripheral part and the end part of the porous filter. SOLUTION: The seal 11 is formed either by closely attaching silicone resin to a porous filter 1 or filling the porous filter with the silicone resin in the peripheral parts and/or end parts of the porous filter 1. The surface of the seal is hydrophilized.
