PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the light fastness of a molded article by almost uniformly forming a coating film on the surface of a foamed urethane material. SOLUTION: After a soln. of a paint M is poured in the cavity 17 of an opened mold 7, the mold 7 is closed and a vacuum pump 34 is driven to evacuate the cavity 17. Whereupon, the solvent of the paint M is boiled. The paint M is efficiently applied to the wall surface of the cavity 17 by the volumetric increase and foam breaking of the paint M at the time of boiling. Thereafter, a urethane material is injected in the cavity 17 and reacted and cured while a reduced pressure state is held to form not only a highly foamed core part U2 but also a low foamed skin layer U3 on the core part and a coating film U1 having light fastness is formed on the surface of the skin layer U3 in almost uniform thickness. |
