SUBSTANCE: method involves conveying petard or smoke-puff charge to tree top by means of balloon filled with helium or hydrogen and controlled by thin double-wire device, which is used as well for explosion of petard or smoke-puff charge; manually picking up cedar cones fallen under the tree. Method allows cones or fruits growing high on tops of tall trees to be collected. EFFECT: increased efficiency, provision for method harmless to fruit-bearing tree, and reduced hazard for fruit collector.
