PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for calculating the ratio of malt used in a malt alcoholic beverage, capable of identifying the kind of malt alcoholic beverage and a method for identifying the kind of malt alcoholic beverage using the calculation method. SOLUTION: This method for calculating the ratio of malt used in the malt alcoholic beverage comprises measuring a potassium ion concentration in the malt alcoholic beverage and calculating the ratio of malt used in the malt alcoholic beverage from the measured potassium ion concentration and a relationship between a preobtained potassium ion concentration and the ratio of malt used. In this case, since the relationship of one to one is obtained between the potassium ion concentration in the malt alcoholic beverage and the ratio of malt used, the ratio of malt used is calculated by measuring the potassium ion concentration. Further the kind of the malt alcoholic beverage is readily and directly identified on the basis of the ratio of malt used. |
