PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a health food containing bamboo charcoal, having good taste and eatable with such an enjoyable feeling as that when enjoying a soft candy. SOLUTION: This bamboo charcoal powder-containing health food is obtained by the following steps: heating an oligosaccharide and/or millet jelly and sugar to boil the heated mixture down; admixing grain flour such as barley flour or soybean flour with the thus boiled-down mixture to make a base dough, forming the thus obtained base dough to predetermined size and shape; and coating the thus formed dough with a gelatin solution; and then further coating the resultant with solid vegetable oil or bamboo leaf powder. |
