PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic sorting device which is capable of sorting plastic pieces generated through a recycling process by kind and with high accuracy. SOLUTION: A plurality of protrusions 17 with a rectangular section in parallel with the rotary shaft of a metallic drum electrode 6 are formed at a specified interval on the outer peripheral face of the metallic drum electrode 6, to which frictionally electrified plastic pieces 2 are made to fall and supplied so that the plastic pieces 2 pass through a space 7 for electrostatic separation formed between the metallic drum electrode 6 and a high voltage electrode 8.
