<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a waste sorting device which is capable of sorting waste plastics to at least hard heavy weight objects and soft lightweight objects and further sorting the foreign matter, such as metals, included in the hard heavy weight objects from the hard heavy weight objects by utilizing the inclination of the rotary plates when forming sieve openings by lining up the rotary plates. SOLUTION: The waste sorting device is constituted to form an accepting section by providing revolving shafts 1, 1... arranged in juxtaposition with the rotary plates 2, 2,... to form a sorting section by providing the respective revolving shafts 1a and 1b in a curved form with the many rotary plates 2, 2, ... to separate and sort the waste plastics by rotating these plates by a driving power transmission section 4 and further to remove the foreign matter from the hard heavy weight objects by connecting a foreign matter removing means C to the rear end of the sorting section. The revolving shafts 1a and 1b are horizontally bent to a projecting form of a prescribed angle, are curved downward at the center in a transverse direction to a V shape in sectional view as well, by which the waste plastics are sorted to the hard heavy weight objects and the soft lightweight objects. The removal of the foreign matter from the hard heavy weight objects is made possible by the foreign matter removing means C.</p> |
