PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adapt a mold used in a horizontal mold clamping/horizontal injection type injection molding machine to a vertical mold clamping/horizontal injection type injection molding machine. SOLUTION: A mold attaching apparatus of a mold clamping machine for injection molding has a mold attaching platen 23 equipped with the first surfrace (A) attached to the molding attaching surface of a mold clamping machine for injection molding and the second surface (B) formed on the side opposite to the first surface (A) in order to attach a mold 18 in a detachable manner and a molten resin passage part 14 for connecting the resin inlet part 10 opened to the outer periphery of the mold attaching platen 23 and the resin outlet part opened to the second surface (B).
