The invention concerns a vacuum cleaner having a removable tank (1) consisting of a tank provided with a suction tube (30) and a closed base (5) and containing the motor and its blade wheel (21), electrical and control members, the latter being arranged on the base, the upper surface of the base including a connection between the blade wheel and a vertical conduit arranged in the tank. The invention is characterised in that the upper surface of said base (5) is a substantially horizontal wall comprising an indentation (6) corresponding to the periphery of the retaining tank (1). |
