PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manhole device capable of adjusting a position of a manhole cover to a height and an inclination of a pavement surface by simple work and capable of steplessly changing a positional adjustment in a prescribed range. SOLUTION: In a manhole device composed of a manhole cover 1, an inner frame 2 for supporting the cover, an outer frame 4 out-fitted with loose clearance 3 for enabling a vertical movement of the inner frame and a pedestal 6 for supporting a collar-shaped horizontal part 5 of the outer frame, this device has an eaves-shaped part 8 forming an acute angle with an inner frame vertical wall arranged in a vertical wall lower edge part of the inner frame 2 and a means insertable/extractable between the eaves-shaped part 8 and a collar- shaped horizontal part upper surface 5 of the outer frame 4, and has a wedge- shaped spacer 9 having an inclination almost parallel to an eaves-shaped part bottom surface in a cross section.
