PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the enlargement of a three row reaping type reaping machine due to an excessive treating capacity by minimizing the difference between the carrying densities of preliminarily treating and carrying mechanisms in which the numbers of carrying target rows are different between a rounding reaping operation and an intermediately dividing reaping operation. SOLUTION: A laterally carrying device 10 is formed so as to join grain straws reaped from two rows on the already reaped row side by the use of an already reaped side pre-treating carrying mechanism 9K and a central pre- treating carrying mechanism 9T, further joining the joined grain straws to grain straws from one row on the non-reaped side by the use of a non-reaped side pre-treating carrying mechanism 9M, and then carrying the joined grain straws to the starting end of a longitudinally carrying device 11.
