The device has washer and joint (21, 22) that are disposed so as to dampen axial vibrations of an injector (1). Two sleeves (23, 24) are disposed so as to dampen transversal vibrations of the injector. The joint, washer and sleeves are made of friction material that is utilized for disc brake pad. The joint is disposed between a metallic joint (8) and a base of a recess (6) in a cylinder head (2). An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising a vibration dampening device.
