PURPOSE: An apparatus for intercepting calls in a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) mobile communication system applying a frequency hopping system is provided to efficiently restrict communication services of all CDMA providers with the one apparatus, under environments for supplying the services through different frequency channels in the providers. Therefore, noise pollution caused by speech sounds is prevented in public areas. CONSTITUTION: A pilot signal generator generates a PN(Pseudo Noise) code of a pilot channel used in a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) mobile communication system and generates code signals having different offsets. An RF signal up-converter converts the PN code and the code signals into RF signals of a main CDMA channel used in a corresponding provider. A power amplifier amplifies the up-converted PN code and the code signals into required signal sizes, to make the up-converted PN code and the code signals radiated through an antenna. When a baseband of pilot channel signal is converted into an RF signal, a frequency hopping signal generator generates hopping patterns to make the RF signal hop between main CDMA channel frequencies used by many communication providers. The RF signal up-converter decides a physical frequency channel according to the hopping patterns. |
